Mindmapping Visitor
Japanese Professor visits the school to look at the use of “Mindmapping” at Northease
Professor Ken Makamura, Mrs E.A. Draffen (Speech and Language Therapist) and Kim Phillips (Deputy Head) met to discuss the way mindmapping can be used to help pupils learn.  Professor Makamura saw examples of mapping in Geography, Art, English and History, as well as ways to use ICT to help the mindmapping process.
 We at Northease, were interested to hear of all the work and research being carried out on behalf of dyslexic pupils in Japan.
