Northease Manor School PTA
Welcome to the Northease School Parent Teacher Association (PTA) page.
The aim of the PTA is to promote cohesion at Northease Manor School. To facilitate the close co-operation and communication between parents, teachers and governors, all for the benefit of the students.
Membership of the PTA is open to all family members of current students attending Northease Manor School and all academic staff.
We have an elected committee of members who meet regularly to plan one off fundraising events and treats for the students. We also plan long term fundraising projects for major investment. All parents/carers & family members are welcome to get involved in meetings and events. No formal commitment is required, we welcome any input, at any time which assists the school.
All the proceeds generated by our fund-raising events are allocated directly towards the cost of providing extra equipment and facilities for the benefit of the students.
Typical one off fund-raising events organised by the PTA include cake sales, the Christmas fair, Easter, and a Summer fair during the school Sports Day & Swimming Gala. The PTA also assist the school by serving refreshments at school-run events, assist as a presence at open days, and helping prospective and new parents with advice and support. The advice can be as simple as uniform fitment, but goes as deep as support planning for tribunals. The PTA help teachers in class with reading and specialist topics, and the office with general tasks wherever we can.
The PTA is a great way of getting involved and being a part of the greater school community; in a school such as Northease where some parents may live at a distance from the school, it also provides a good opportunity to meet up socially with other parents, however infrequent.
If anybody would like to help at any of our events or join an occasional meeting, rest assured, you will get a very warm welcome!
