Our teaching staff work in close collaboration with our resident speech and language therapists, occupational therapists and counsellors in order to ensure that students enjoy the best opportunities to overcome their specific learning difficulties.
Occupational Therapist
Anele Griessel qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 1996 at the University of the Orange Free State, Bloemfontein, South Africa. She has worked in a variety of Health, Community and Educational settings and services.
Anele is experienced in working with children in both mainstream and special education and her experience include working with children who have epilepsy, ADHD, Autism, Specific Learning Difficulties, Specific Language Impairment, Auditory Processing Disorders, Developmental Delay, Developmental Coordination Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, Learning Disability, Cerebral Palsy and Social interaction difficulties.
She has a particular interest in working with children who have Sensory Integration difficulties and those children who have Auditory Processing Difficulties. Anele is also a qualified Johanssen Sound Therapist and holds a Post Graduate qualification in Sensory Integration.
